On vient d’apprendre que le réalisateur anglais, Danny Boyle, allait s’attaquer à un mythe de la pop culture avec une mini-série dédiée aux Sex Pistols pour le network FX et intitulée « Pistol ». La production des 6 épisodes commencerait en mars et se concentrerait sur le parcours (et le livre « Lonely Boy: Tales from a Sex Pistol ») du guitariste Steve Jones.
Toby Wallace (The Society) incarnera Steve Jones.
Anson Boon (1917) sera Johnny Rotten.
Louis Partridge (Paddington 2) jouera Sid Vicious.
Paul Cook et Glen Matlock, seront interprétés enfin par Jacob Slater et Fabien Frankel. Emma Appleton (The Witcher) sera Nancy Spungen, la compagne de Sid Vicious. Maisie Williams, la star de Game Of Thrones, écope du rôle de l’icône punk Jordan.
